Manual Therapy

At Infinite Athlete Physical Therapy, we take pride in our ability to provide patients with the highest quality of care through the use of a variety of manual therapy skills. We use a combination of joint mobilization, manipulation, and soft tissue mobilization techniques to help reduce pain and inflammation, while also improving your joint and tissue mobility. Our goal is to help you relax your muscles and increase your range of motion so that you can get back to the activities you love.

Cupping Therapy

At Infinite Athlete Physical Therapy, we understand that pain and inflammation can be debilitating and hinder your ability to perform daily activities. That's why we offer a range of techniques to help you recover and get back to your normal routine. One of these techniques is cupping, which involves the use of suction cups to improve localized blood flow to the tissue. By utilizing cupping therapy, we create the best conditions for your tissues to heal and reduce pain and inflammation.

Dry Needling

At Infinite Athlete PT, we utilize dry needling frequently in conjunction with other interventions to address muscle spasms and myofascial trigger points.

Dry needling uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying trigger points in muscle and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain, tightness, and movement impairments.

Blood Flow Restriction Training

Blood flow restriction training (BFR) is a game-changing therapy that utilizes specialized tourniquets to safely regulate & control limb occlusion pressure for some pretty amazing training outcomes! In short, BFR allows you to exercise & lift at lower loads with similar results you would achieve when lifting 65% or greater of your 1 rep max.

At Infinite Athlete PT, we use BFR to help our athletes/patients:

  • Diminish atrophy and loss of strength from disuse after injuries

  • Increase strength with only 20-30% loads

  • Increase hypertrophy with only 20-30% loads

  • Improve muscle endurance in 1/3 the time

  • Improve muscle protein synthesis in the elderly

  • Improve strength and hypertrophy after surgery

  • Improve muscle activation

  • Increase growth hormone responses
